NIA to conduct first-aid training for industrial workers

April 8, 2017

Mysuru – Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) in association with the Department of Factories and Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Karnataka, have jointly organised the 53rd one-day training programme on first-aid for industrial workers and supervisors on Apr. 11.

The increased use of machines and electrical appliances in everyday work at home and at workplace has driven more people at risk of injury and calamities.  Thus there is a demand for first-aid training.

As per the statutory  compliance, in every industry certain number of employees should be trained in first-aid and they should know the important procedure for treating the casualty.

V. Murthy, industrialist and art patron will inaugurate the programme which will be held from 9 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesday at Hotel Shree Guru Residency, JLB Road Cross, Mysuru.
