NIA holds 80th First-Aid Training programme

Mysore/Mysuru: The 80th First-Aid Training programme for industrial workers was conducted by Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) in association with Department of Factories & Boilers, Industrial Safety & Health, Mysuru, recently.

R.K. Parthasarathy, Joint Director, Department of Factories & Boilers, Government of Karnataka, presided over the event, according to Secretary of NIA B.S. Chandrashekar. Parthasarathy, who spoke, appreciated the efforts of NIA in conducting 80 such programmes. 

M.S. Mahadevu, Deputy Director of Factories, was present. B. Prakash, Secretary, St. John’s Ambulance  Association, was the faculty.  NIA Secretary Chandrashekar welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.  NIA Manager Ravindran, proposed a vote of thanks. 

About 70 participants from different industries attended.
