Mysore/Mysuru: G.S. Ramachandra, President of NIE Foundation and Director of NIE Management Committee, Mysuru, passed away on Aug. 14 night at his residence in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, following a heart attack. He was 74.
An alumnus of NIE, he had served at BHEL for 30 years. He leaves behind his wife Usha, sons Sandeep and Swaroop, daughter Seema and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held yesterday in Bengaluru, according to family sources.
