Mysuru, Oct. 19- The Old Students of NIE graduated in the year 1975 from Electronics and Communication branch, had organised their 25th Annual Meet on Oct.17 at NIE premises.
Prof. S Parameshwara, Head, E&C Department, presided. Alumni C.R. Venugopal (Retd. Professor, SJCE) and Er. S.N. Krishna Rao (Retd. Chief Scientist, CFTRI, Mysuru) were present on the occasion.
Class toppers K.G. Anusha was awarded with a Gold Medal and cash prize of Rs. 5,000 while M.N. Varshini was awarded with Silver Medal and cash prize of Rs. 3,000 for their academic excellence. The alumni also donated books worth Rs. 1,500 to E&C Department.
To mark their Golden Jubilee year of graduation, the alumni also donated laboratory development kits worth Rs. 5. lakh to the Department, according to a press release.
