Mysore/Mysuru: Kumar Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru, has organised its 19th and 20th Nirantara Kalemane Utsava, a National level “Shivaanjali” festival on Feb. 18 and 19  at Kalemane Sabhaangana in city.

On 18th, K. Smitha Kurup, Principal of JSS Public School, will be the chief guest. Disciples of Guru Gunavati, Guru Smitha Sripathi, Guru Padmini Shreedhar, Guru Gururaj, Guru Divya Shivanarayan from Gauri Bidanuru, Guru Anitha, Guru Kripa Phadke, Guru Vidya Ravishankar and Guru Vasanthi Joshi from Gujarat will be performing.

On 19th, Dr. Aathira Ravindranath, Paediatric Gastroenterology, will be the chief guest. Disciples of Guru Dr. Shobha Shashikumar from Bengaluru, Guru Sisira Das from Kerala, Kalai Ilamani Dr. Aishwarya from Chennai and The School of Performing Arts and Indic Studies, Reva University, Bengaluru, will be performing. Students will be performing Bharatanatyam, Kuchupudi, Mohiniattam and Kathak. This team is led by Dr. Vidya Shimladka, Director and Professor, SOPA and IS.

This will be followed by a lecture demonstration on Pada Varna by Dr. Shobha Shashikumar.
