No curbs on newspaper distribution

Bengaluru: Indian Federation of Working Journalists has clarified that total lockdown imposed by the State Government from May 10 to 24 will not impact newspaper distribution and movement of newspaper carrying vehicles.

In a press release here yesterday, B.V. Mallikarjunaiah, President of the Federation, said some vested interests are into vilification campaign that the Coronavirus will spread through newspaper which is totally ‘false and misleading.’ 

He said newspapers will continue to be distributed among readers during the coming 15-day complete lockdown.
