No international passenger flights till Sept. 30

New Delhi: Even as the Centre announced more relaxations in lockdown 4.0, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that the ban on International flights has been extended till Sept.30.

In a notification issued on Sunday, the DGCA said that the ban on International Passenger flights, which was imposed following the enforcement of nationwide COVID-19 induced lockdown in March, will continue till Sept.30. However, the ban does not apply to Cargo flights.

Two months after the ban was imposed, domestic flights resumed on May 25. But the ban on international flights has continued till Sept. 30. However, flights of Vande Bharat Mission aimed at ferrying Indian citizens stranded abroad will continue and there is no restriction on the Mission flights.
