No plastic Flags on I-Day

Mysuru: The District Administration, which has organised Independence Day celebrations on Aug. 15 at 9 am at Torchlight Parade Grounds in Bannimantap here, has appealed people to use flags made of cloth and not plastic flags.

The Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, in a press release, has asked traders not to sell plastic and paper flags.
