‘No pneumonia cases reported in Mysuru district’

Mysore/Mysuru: There are no cases of pneumonia reported in Mysuru district but still preventive measures are being taken up, said District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. P.C. Kumaraswamy.

Following outbreak of pneumonia in China, the Centre had instructed the Health Officers across the country to be on high alert.

The District Health Officer said that there were no pneumonia cases detected in the district so far and added that preventive steps were being taken with guidance from the Department.

The DHO further said that doctors of all Government Hospitals in the district have been provided information and awareness is also being created among public.
