No Sound & Light Show at Palace today

The Sound & Light Show at Mysore Palace, which is held between 7 pm and 8 pm every day, stands cancelled today (Feb. 7) following the demise of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

However, Palace will remain open for visitors between 10 am and 5.30 pm. As two-day National mourning was announced following the singer’s death yesterday, Palace illumination was also cancelled on Sunday (Feb. 6), according to Palace Board Dy. Director T.S. Subramanya.
