Non-functioning street-lights on Ring Road-Bogadi Junction

January 16, 2025

Sir,

This is regarding the non-functioning street-lights on the Ring Road – Bogadi junction. Many news items and articles have highlighted this recurring problem, which continues to cause significant hardships for pedestrians and morning walkers.

I urge the authorities concerned to address this issue at the earliest.

The area also has numerous bars and restaurants where people gather for booze parties in the dark. Adding to the woes, students engage in wheeling stunts. The non-functioning street-lights exacerbate these problems, making life particularly difficult for residents of the nearby Bank Colony.

I sincerely hope this letter brings some much-needed relief to the area’s residents.
