‘Noorondu Geethe’: 101 singers to perform at Kalamandira on Monday

Mysore/Mysuru: A ‘Geetha Namana’ programme titled ‘101 Kalavidara Noorondu Geethegalu’ has been organised at Kalamandira in city on Nov. 9 (Monday) from 8 am to 8.30 pm, in memory of late singer Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam (SPB) and music director Rajan.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Singer Ravi Santosh said that Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru City and District Unit and Ravi Santu Balaga have jointly organised the event. 

Music Director V. Manohar, Kannada Sahitya Parishat Bengaluru City District President Mayanna, writer K. Kalyan and playback singer Manasa Holla will be among the attendees.  Due to COVID-19 guidelines, Kalamandira auditorium can be filled only to the half of its capacity.

Artistes Sinchana, Shankar Simha, Raju Buddi, TVS Kumar, Srikanta, Sundaresh, Naveen, Prasanna, Devu and Bhanuprakash were present during the press meet.
