I am not disappointed about not getting RS ticket: Vijay Sankeshwar

March 13, 2018

Hubballi: Asserting that he had not sought a BJP ticket for Rajya Sabha seat, former MP and media entrepreneur Vijay Sankeshwar said that he was not at all disappointed over not getting RS ticket.

Addressing a press meet at Hubballi this morning, he scotched rumours that he was upset with BJP leadership over denial of ticket. Pointing out that he had joined RSS when he was 12 years of age, Sankeshwar said State BJP President Yeddyurappa, giving a hint of his (Sankeshwar) nomination for RS polls, had asked him to get his paper ready by Mar. 11. But he does not know what transpired later on, he said reiterating that he was not at all disappointed.
