Mysuru: Shahid Siddiqui, noted Urdu Journalist from New Delhi, Chief Editor of Urdu Weekly ‘Nai Duniya’ and former Chairman of All India Congress Committee, Minorities Department, along with former Home Minister R. Roshan Baig, visited the tomb of Hazrath Tipu Sultan Shaheed in Gumbad e Shahi at Srirangapatna yesterday.

A former Rajya Sabha Member, Siddiqui is vlogging  a video documentary on the life of Founder of Sultanat E Khudadad Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur and Hazrath Tipu Sultan Shaheed.

The dignitaries paid tribute to Hazrath Tipu and his father Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur by offering Chader and Flowers on both the tombs.

Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Inayath Ur Rahman, Shahi Khateeb O Imam, Masjid e Aqsa, Gumbad e Shahi, prayed and made dua. Irfan Pasha, Secretary, Hazrath Tipu Waqf Estate Development Committee, Suhail Baig, former Corporator, Rafeeq Ahmed, former Vice-Chairman, KPCC Minorities Department, Pani Nasir Ahmed  and MD Mujju were also present.

Shahid Siddiqui and his team shot some scenes around the tomb of Hazrath Tipu Sultan and in Dariya Daulat Bagh.
