NSS volunteers excel in State-level Camp

Mysuru: NSS volunteers of JSSPW participated in the State-level NSS Camp organised by DTE at Kagatti village Chintamani taluk, Kolar district. Nearly 150 volunteers, representing 70 different Polytechnics, had participated in National Social Service Camp with immense dedication.

Volunteers of JSSPW were honoured and awarded for selfless social service.

M. Sneha of E&C Department was honoured with the Best Volunteer Award.

Best anchor for cultural programme was given to R. Jyothi of CSE Department. S. Ramya of CSE Department was positioned as the Vice-Captain.

Volunteers Somyashree, Indhu, M.P. Chaitra, Yashaswini, Shruthi and Sushma worked hard to create awareness about cleanliness, against child labour and use  of technology among the resident of Kagatti village by organising skits, folk dance and music.

All volunteers were awarded ‘The Best Group’ for this dedication and service at the camp held from Feb.4 to 10 under the guidance of N. Shekar, Principal, JSSPW, Mysuru.
