Nudi-Namana and Awards ceremony on Jan.19

Pandavapura taluk based Hasirubhoomi Trust in association with Negilayogi Samajaseva Trust and Mandya Okkoota, will be organising Kuvempu and Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Nudi-Namana and Geetha-Namana at the District Kannada Sahitya Bhavan, Vijayanagar First Stage in city at 4.30 pm on Jan.19. Former Rangayana Director H.  Janardhan (Janni) will be conferred ‘Kuvempu Samajamukhi’ award while Bengaluru-based social worker and artist R. Shashikumar will be conferred ‘Dr. Balagangadharanatha Swamiji Samajamukhi’ award on the occasion.

Folk Scholar Dr. P.K. Rajashekar will inaugurate the event. Veteran litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar will  preside. Adichunchanagiri Mutt Mysuru branch Head Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji will grace the occasion.
