Odisha youth dies in city

Mysuru: A 20-year-old Odisha youth, who was working at a stall in the exhibition at Maharaja’s College Grounds, reportedly collapsed at the stall and died at a hospital on Wednesday evening here.

The deceased has been identified as Arjun. He was working at the packing section in the stall where he collapsed suddenly.

Though he was rushed to a hospital by co-workers, Arjun is said to have breathed his last at the hospital.

It is learnt that Arjun had recently joined the expo stall through a labour contractor.                              

The body was shifted to MMC&RI mortuary, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to family members.

Lakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case, said that Arjun may have died due to heart attack, but the fact would be known only after receiving the post-mortem report.
