Mobile phone, note book and Rs. 24,000 cash seized
Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on Jan. 31, have arrested a person for indulging in cricket betting at New Star Tea Corner, near Huliyamma Temple on Azeez Sait Main Road and have seized one mobile phone, a note book and Rs. 24,000 cash from him.
The arrested is 29-year-old Mohammed Azar of KSCB Colony in Shanthinagar. A case has been registered at Udayagiri Police Station in this regard.
DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa supervised CCB Inspector A. Mallesh and staff Raju, Srinivasa Prasad, Joseph Noronha, Purushotham, Arun Kumar, V. Raghu, Rajashri Jalawadi and K.G. Srinivas, in the nabbing and seizing operation.
