One arrested for illegally storing wild animal pelts in house

Deer skin, antlers seized

Mysuru: The sleuths of City Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested a person on charges of illegally storing deer skin and antlers in house and have seized the skin and antlers from him.

The arrested person is 38-year-old Rohit, a resident of Kuvempunagar in city.

Acting on a tip off, the CCB Police raided the house on Friday and arrested the person, besides seizing one deer skin and two antlers stored in the house.

A case has been registered at Saraswathipuram Police Station in this regard.
