One arrested for indulging in cricket betting in car

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Dec. 30, have arrested a person on charges of indulging in cricket betting in city.

The person who has been arrested has been identified as Sharad.

Acting on a tip off, CCB Inspector Prasanna Kumar and staff raided the car which was parked near Sumangali Saree Centre in Gandhi Square and arrested Sharad, who was carrying out cricket betting racket inside.

CCB Inspector Prasanna Kumar has lodged a complaint at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.
