Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot while pillion rider sustained serious injuries, when the bike rammed into a parked truck from behind near Devegowda Circle on the Ring Road yesterday night.

The deceased has been identified as Swamy (32), a resident of Kalisiddanahundi village. The seriously injured pillion rider has been admitted to a hospital.

Police said that both the riders were not wearing helmets.
