Mysore/Mysuru: A bike rider was killed while two minor boys sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two bikes near Deve Gowda Circle on Ring Road here on Friday.

The deceased rider has been identified as Zameel (45), a resident of Bannur, while the injured boys have been identified as his nephews Mubarak, 12 and Awais,14.

Zameel was returning to Bannur from Mysuru along with his nephews on Friday afternoon, when his bike collided head on with another motorcycle near Deve Gowda Circle on Ring Road. Zameel, who sustained serious injuries, was being rushed to a Hospital, when he died en route, it is learnt. Mubarak and Awais, who sustained injuries, are being treated at a city hospital, while the other bike rider, whose identity is yet to be known, escaped with minor injuries. Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have registered a case.
