Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, in association with JCI Mysore Success World Chapter of Zone XIV, had also organised a national-level online career guidance programme recently. The programme was specially designed for the UG students across India.

JFM G.P. Rajeev, President of JCI Mysore Success World, welcomed. JC Samatha Misquith, Zone President of Zone XIV JCI India, was the chief guest of the programme. She briefed about the importance of career planning and career management during the current COVID pandemic situation.

The guest of honour Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal of GSSIETW, pointed out the importance of selecting a strong career which makes the students motivated or excited throughout their professional life. 

Dr. D.R. Rajashekhara Swamy, Professor & Head, Dept of MBA, conveyed best wishes to the participants and Dr. V.K. Jayan, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, proposed a vote of thanks. The programme was designed for two days of which day-1 was allotted for Science graduates and day-2 for Arts & Commerce graduates. The complete session was conducted by Jasobanth N. Singhlal, a renowned career counsellor and impact coach trainer from IBCCC Academy, Bhubaneswar.

The programme covered a wide range of career options starting from certification courses to PG courses. He further explained about the skill sets required for each career. The participants actively engaged in the programme.
