Online lecture tomorrow

The Deccan Heritage Foundation along with the Centre of Islamic Studies at the University of Cambridge and HH Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation, Mysuru, will be presenting ‘From Malabar to Coromandel, Deccan Heritage, Art and Culture,’ the pioneering scholarship in various cultural fields from both Northern and Southern Deccan regions of India, through online seminars and lectures. On May 14, a lecture on ‘Deccan Portraits in Jahangir’s Albums’ will be held at 5.30 pm by Navina Najat Haidar of Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

On May 28, a conversation on the topic ‘Discovering the Deccan’ with George Michell by William Dalrymple will be held at 5.30 pm. For registration, log on to www.deccanheritagefoundation.uk.
