Open drains causing problems to residents at Ramakrishnanagar

Sewage water which has become stagnant in open drain on 3rd Main 3rd Cross in Ramakrishnanagar ‘H’ Block is causing a lot of problems to the residents living in the surroundings. As weeds and plants have grown inside the drain, it is hindering the smooth flow of sewage water, which is now emanating foul smell, allege residents who also stated that there is increase in mosquitoes as the stagnant sewage water has become a perfect place for mosquitoes to breed. Residents have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to get the drain cleaned at the earliest.
