Mysore/Mysuru: Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Centre for Skilling and Technical Support (CSTS), Mysuru,  had organised a two-day Open House event from Feb.14 to 16 at its premises.

The Open House was inaugurated by  Uday Kumar, BEO (North), Mysuru, in the presence of A.S.N. Murthy, CIPET Chief Manager; Prem, Senior Finance Officer & Admin; N. Ramesh Babu, Senior Technical Officer, CIPET staff and students.  

A.S.N. Murthy, in his welcome address, briefly explained about the opportunities available in plastics field and explained in detail about the various courses conducted by CIPET. He also educated the gathering about proper disposal of plastics waste and urged everyone to be socially responsible in maintaining the environment.

As part of the event, CIPET showcased its technical capabilities in terms of mould-making, processing skills and testing services.

Participants from Vidya Vikas Engineering College, JSS Science College and GSSS Engineering College, Ravishankar Rai, Professor, University of Mysore, visited the Open House. 

The Open House was held to promote CIPET Diploma and PG Diploma admission JEE 2020. Last date for online application is May 22  and CIPET- JEE is scheduled on May 31, according to a press release.
