‘Open Mic’ and ‘Plant Swap’ events at Heritage House

Mysore/Mysuru: Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF), an NGO, in partnership with Indian Heritage Cities Network Foundation (IHCNF), is working on creating a cultural centre in Mysuru, in the heritage property called ‘Heritage House’, #3, Old Professors Quarters, Saraswathipuram, near Kukkarahalli Lake, right next to the University Inter-national Hostel.

As part of it, various events and workshops that is relevant to our culture and heritage will be held at the said venue on the following days.

June 10: ‘Open Mic’ event for all (music, poetry, dance,  stories, comedy and theatre) from 5.30 pm onwards. For details and registration, contact Mob: 91766-44884.

June 11: ‘Plant Swap’ to celebrate World Environment Day from 4 pm to 7 pm. There will be quiz and talks on ‘Sustainable practices at home and management of plastic in everyday life’ by Shamsundar Subbarao, HoD, NIE – CREST and Dinesh Bopanna, Director, Jagruth Tech Pvt.
