Open selection trials for KSCA Academy

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Mysuru Zone, will be conducting open selection trials in different age category for boys and girls in Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts.

Selections for U-19, U-16 and U-14 boys in Mandya will be held at PET-KSCA Turf on Apr. 3; at Lyons Cricket Academy, behind Varthakara Bhavan, B. Rachaiah Double Road in Chamarajanagar on Apr. 4; JSS-KSCA Turf Ground at JSS STU premises (U-19) and SDNR Wadiyar Stadium Academy Nets (U-16), Manasagangothri on Apr. 5.

In U-14 boys category, players who could not attend selection trials on Mar. 22 at Mysuru, can attend the selection trials at Mandya or Chamarajanagar. Selection process in all three districts will commence from 8.30 am on the scheduled dates.

In girls category, the selection for U-15 girls will held on Apr. 3 at JSS-KSCA Turf Ground at JSS STU premises in Manasagangothri at 9 am and the selection trials in U-19 category will be held at the SDNR Wadiyar Stadium Academy Nets in Manasagangothri from 8.30 am on Apr. 4.

Players attending the selection trials must be present in cricket attire and along with their cricket kits and a digital copy of their DOB certificate, Aadhaar card for proof of residence. No photocopies of the certificates will be entertained.

Eligibility criteria:  In the U-14 boys category, players born on or after Sept. 1, 2012 are eligible to participate, while players born on or after Sept. 1, 2010 are eligible to take part in U-16 category and players born on or after Sept.1, 2007 are eligible to take part in U-19 selection trials.

In girls category, players born on or after Sept. 1, 2011 are eligible to participate in U-15 selection trials and players born  on or after Sept. 1, 2007 are eligible to participate in U-19 trials.
