Mysuru: Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), Bengaluru, will be conducting open selection trials to select three/four teams in the senior women’s category (One-Day) on Jan.4 at KSCA B Grounds at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Girls from mofussil centres will be provided dormitory facilities only on Jan. 4 for freshening up. Girls who are born on or before Aug. 8, 2009 are eligible for selection trials. Those below 16 years will not be eligible. Participants should carry a photocopy of their date of birth certificate.

Girls from Mysuru who wish to participate in selection trials can register their names at KSCA Mysuru Zone office without fail, stated a press release from P. Srinivas Prasad, Convenor, KSCA Mysuru Zone.

In a boost to women’s cricket, KSCA Mysuru will be providing space for women cricketers in all age categories to practice at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Manasagangothri on every Saturday starting tomorrow (Jan.3). Women cricketers must wear white uniform and bring their own cricket kits. The cricket nets will be open from 8 am.
