Operation Cheetah: 3,793 cases booked, Rs. 4,23,600 fine collected

Mysuru: The Mysuru City Traffic Police, along with civil Police, who conducted ‘Operation Cheetah,’ a drive against traffic rules violators on Dec.12 from 12 noon to 3 pm on prominent roads in city, have booked a total of  3,793 cases against traffic rules offenders and have collected Rs. 4,23,600 fines from them.

The Police, who conducted a drive against those riding and driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol on the same day from 8.30 pm to 12.30 am, have booked 51 cases against the offenders.

The Police have recommended suspension of Driving Licenses (DL) of the offenders.
