Finally a great Job ( ! ) Such operations should be conducted near J.L Puram Mall Autostand & Vontikoppal Post office Autostand.

We as consumers will appreciate what police department is doing to ensure the rule by booking the erring auto rickshaw drivers. Since I do not have a private vehicle I am forced some times auto and I dread such situation. Whenever I can take bus.
We as consumers should apprciate the situation of auto drivers. Why do they ‘cheat’ the public? Because of more autos than the need for them, they are unable to earn their livelihood. This is not to support their breaking the rule of law by charging what they like or refusing to take us where we want to go.
Some one should undertake a formal study to find out how many autos we need, what percentage of drivers are able to earn their living and what can be done to ensure some minimum earnings, etc. Can police department and RTO support such a study?

  3. Vijay Anand says:

25? It must be 25,000 as most autorickshaw drivers are corrupted, misbehaving, do not have digital meters, do not put meter, and demand excess fare.

  4. sanath kumar A S says:

Great this operation should be done every month for at least 20 times so that all the auto drivers should think before Demand for more money from public

  5. Peter says:

Please jail them for at least one year! They should realize that it is not worth the risk! Also, print their names and mugshots of these criminals in railway station, bus stands and auto stands so that people can recognize them before they get in to the auto!
