Operation Swan: Police hold Walkathon

September 19, 2018

Mysuru:  Operation Swan, initiated by City Traffic Police to make them more tourist-friendly and people-friendly and to increase their professionalism, has continued.

Over 250 City Traffic Police officials, staff and City Police Control Room personnel walked up the Chamundi Hill on Monday to participate in a workshop.

They assembled near Tavarakatte at the foothills at the crack of dawn and marched to the hilltop where a workshop was held for them by Fitness Trainer Chandrashekaran, who was the Resource Person.

The Resource Person provided information about how to keep themselves physically and mentally fit, daily food habits and exercises to be done based on their age.

Traffic Police personnel participated in the workshop enthusiastically and took part in a discussion with senior officers. They shared their opinion freely keeping hierarchies aside.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dr. Vikram V. Amathe, who presided over the workshop, said that more such programmes would be held in future.
