Mysore/Mysuru: As part of its CSR initiative, Can Fin Homes Ltd., has donated Ophthalmology medical equipment worth Rs.17,06,880 to the District Hospital on KRS Road in Metagalli, Mysuru.

P.S. Mallya, Deputy General Manager, Can Fin Homes Ltd.,  inaugurated the facility at the Hospital recently.

Dr. T. Amarnath, District Surgeon and Dr. Nayaz Pasha, Resident Medical Officer of the Hospital, were present on the occasion.

Can Fin Homes Limited, set up under the sponsorship of Canara Bank, was incorporated in the year 1987 — “The International Year of Shelter for the Homeless.”

The main objective of setting up the Company was for promoting home ownership and for increasing the housing stock in the country. It is the first housing company to be promoted by a nationalised bank in India.

In the last 34 years, Can Fin has helped over 4 lakh families acquire their own homes.
