Plea to depute adequate staff at Saraswathipuram Post Office

Sir,

I visited the Head Post Office in Saraswathipuram recently in connection with my savings bank account.

Most of the days there is a long wait of not less than an hour and even I had to wait for my work.

People are provided with a   token and chairs to be seated at the Post Office.

But it is sad to see the senior citizens, some older than 80 years, patiently waiting for their turn.

The staff, including the Post-Master are very co-operative unlike many others and I also understand that the delay in work is due to the shortage of staff.

The authorities concerned are requested to post or depute adequate staff so that the senior citizens may avoid the ordeal of waiting for long hours.
