Mysuru: As part of Orthodontist’s Day (Oct. 5), the Department of Orthodontics at JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru, observed Orthodontic Awareness Week from Oct. 1.

As part of the celebrations, an Orthodontic awareness bike rally was held. It was flagged off by Principal Dr. S. Ravindra, Deputy Director (Academics) Dr. M.R. Dhakshaini and Assistant Director (Academics) Dr. S. Prashanth.

The rally which began from JSS Dental College and Hospital went up to Highway Circle with rallyists carrying placards to create awareness among the public.

The celebration included Orthodontic awareness programmes, smile contest, floral carpet competition with smile theme and awareness lectures.
