Over 5,000 students appear for PG-CET and D-CET

Mysore/Mysuru: Over 5,000 candidates in total appeared for PG-CET and D-CET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority in city on Oct.13 and 14.

The PG-CET was conducted for admission to Post-Graduate Technical Courses such as M.Tech, ME, MBA, M.Arch and MCA, offered by VTU and other State-run Universities of the State, while the D-CET was meant for Engineering Diploma students seeking admission to BE Course in Engineering colleges of the State.

Out of the 2,885 students who had registered for the exam on the second day of PG-CET yesterday, 2,579 appeared for the exam, while over 2,100 of the 2,400 who had registered for D-CET, wrote the exam.

Over all, 5,568 students out of the 6,006, who had registered for the exams attended.
