Overflowing manhole spreading diseases at Rajivnagar

Sewage water is overflowing from a clogged manhole opposite Masjid-e-Khaif at Rajivnagar 2nd Stage in MCC Ward No.21 since months which has failed to get the attention of civic officials though the Ward belongs to the Mayor. Residents say that the sewage water is flowing into the storm water drain. Also, foul smell is emanating from it besides increase in mosquitoes in the vicinity causing health problems to many. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the manhole repaired at the earliest.
