Padma Awards-2022: Applications invited

The Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office has invited applications from achievers of various fields to honour them with Padma Awards-2022 which will be announced on the occasion of Republic Day 2023. The Padma Awards — Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri — are amongst the highest civilian awards in the country. The award aims to recognise ‘work of distinction’ and is presented for distinguished and exceptional achievements/service in all fields/disciplines, such as Art, Literature and Education, Sports, Medicine, Social Work, Science and Engineering, Public Affairs, Civil Service, Trade and Industry etc.

Achievers may submit their applications along with sufficient details at the DC Office or may also send the soft copy to e-mail: [email protected] before Sept. 15, according to a press release from Additional DC Dr. B.S. Manjunathaswamy.
