H.K. Govindaraju (65), a resident of Kalkunike Housing Board, passed away yesterday in the town. He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the family’s farm land in Haranahalli village in Periyapatna taluk yesterday, according to family sources.
Lakshmamma (80), a resident of Dasanakoppal village in the taluk, passed away yesterday at the village. She leaves behind four sons including former Gram Panchayat Member D. Devaraju, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the village this afternoon.
