Naganna (71), popularly known as Bellada Angadi Naganna and a resident of the town, passed away following a heart attack this morning in the town. He leaves behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the burial grounds near Parashurama Temple this afternoon.

Dr. K. Abdul Latif (84), retired Professor of Biochemistry at Mysore Medical College and a resident of Bannimantap, passed away following brief illness yesterday in city.
