Jagadish Munnur (75), Partner of Sharada Jewellery Mart at Gokulam, passed away yesterday in city. A resident of Gokulam, he leaves behind his wife, one daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.

Basavaraju (72), former President of Taluk Madiwala Sangha and Proprietor of Alankar Dry Cleaners, passed away at his residence in Srirampura Layout in the town yesterday. He leaves behind son Mahesh (Secretary of Madiwala Sangha) and two daughters. Last rites were performed at Madiwala Burial Grounds in the town this morning.

Biddanda Suresh Thimmaiah (65), a resident of Chennayankote in Pollibetta, Kodagu, passed away on Saturday night at  his residence. He leaves behind his wife Prami, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Pollibetta yesterday afternoon.

Ballachanda B. Subramani (63), son of B.C. Belliappa (Bollu) and a resident of Dattagalli, passed away yesterday following a heart attack at Bahrain. He leaves behind his wife and a son. Last rites will be held in city after the arrival of the body from Bahrain.

Ravi Kiran (25), son of late Hemanth Navalkar and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away on Saturday following a                         heart attack. An employee of L&T, Ravi leaves behind his mother, elder brother and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Jayanagar Burial Grounds yesterday.

T.N. Krishnamurthy (83), a resident of Kuvempunagar ‘M’ Block, passed away this morning in city. He leaves behind his wife, three sons and a daughter. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.

B. Krishna Bhat (83), Proprietor of the then Hotel Mayura at Shivarampet, passed away this morning in Mangaluru. He had served as the President of Mysuru Hotel Owners Association from 1994 to 1996. He leaves behind his wife Yashodha Bhat, two sons and two daughters. Last rites were held in Mangaluru this afternoon.
