Mallesh Shastri (50), a priest of Kalikamba Kamateshwara temple at Alanahalli in H.D. Kote taluk of the district and also an astrologer, passed away on Friday following a heart attack. He leaves behind his wife Geetha, daughter Chirantana and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at his farmland in Alanahalli yesterday.
