Lakshmamma (81), wife of late Kempegowda and a resident of Gokulam 3rd Stage, passed away last night at a private hospital in city. She leaves behind three sons including former Dy. Mayor K. Sureshbabu, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed this evening in city, according to family sources.

Bannerghatta Park now open on Sundays

The Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) will be open for visitors on Sundays as usual. Holiday was declared on Sundays lockdown. However, the State Government has withdrawn Sunday lockdown and therefore, the park will be open for visitors on Sunday. It remains closed on Tuesday, Park Executive Director said in a press release.
