Pailwan Jawa Ramanna (75), a resident of Kumbarageri, passed away on Monday in city. He served as the Vice-President of Kumbara Sangha and was a guide to budding wrestlers.

He leaves behind two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage, according to family sources.
