The Mysore Palace remained closed to tourists this morning from 10 am to 1 pm following the assembling of the Golden Throne.

Many tourists were seen returning disappointed seeing the notice on the gates of the Palace.

The entry to the Palace will also be banned on Sept.29 from 10 am to 2.30 pm, on Oct.7 from 10 am to 2.30 pm, Oct.8 the whole day except for ticket and pass holders to view Dasara procession and on Oct.23 between 10 am and 1 pm. However, on Sept. 29, Oct. 7 and Oct. 23, the Palace will be open to public in the afternoon.
