Parcels stolen from courier auto

Mysuru: In an early morning theft, two parcels of a courier firm, were found stolen from a courier auto in K.R. Police Station limits.

Mahadevaswamy, the driver of the courier auto, in his complaint with the K.R. Police, said that he loaded parcels to his office at the Blue Dart courier office in the city last evening and parked his vehicle in front of his house on Chamundipuram Road last night and went for sleep.

But he found two parcels, one containing a TV set and other a box meant to be delivered at Kushalanagar in Kodagu, missing from the auto when he woke up at about 5.30 am to begin his journey.

The incident may have taken place between 3 am and 5 am in the early hours, Mahadevaswamy said.

K.R. Police, who visited the spot, conducted mahazar and registered a case in this regard.
