Parents allege MLA, MP’s indifference

September 17, 2026

Mysuru: Even as the South Western Railway’s Mysuru Division continues construction of multi-storey buildings close to the schools, parents and students have alleged that Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda and Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar have shown little concern over protecting the institutions.

The school managements, alumni and parents have expressed strong disappointment over what they describe as the elected representatives’ indifference. They alleged that while the public representatives remain active in political programmes, they have failed to respond to the concerns surrounding the schools.

The parents and alumni urged the elected representatives to intervene to protect the two institutions, including their playgrounds and learning environment.
