Parthenium menace at vacant sites

July 28, 2018

Sir,

There are vacant sites on the left and right side of our house which are full of parthenium weeds (see pic.). We and our neighbours’ are afraid even to open the windows.

We the residents, in view of our safety, are cleaning the vacant sites near our houses at our own cost. Since the rainy season is on, the situation has worsened. Hence,  on behalf of the residents I request the MCC officials concerned to look into the problem seriously and solve it permanently by strictly instructing the site owners to keep their sites clean.
