Pathetic condition of Park

July 5, 2021

Sir,

Recently I started going for evening walk in the park located behind JSS Law College, Kuvempunagar and it was so disheartening to see the state of the park. Many elderly come for walks and the park is no less than a dustbin.

Where are the area Corporators or authorities concerned? Can’t they even take initiative to maintain the park for the tax-paying public?

There is a beautiful kids playing area, but I am sure one will be scared to take their kids there as it is surrounded by unwanted plants and chances of snakes or insects is high. And not to end, you get to see plenty of beer bottles, water bottles, food packages strewn all over the Park.

I would request the authorities concerned to maintain at least basic cleanliness in the park, sweep the walking path and open gym area and make it a happier place for elderly and kids. [see pics above].
