Pathetic condition of roads at KHB Hootagalli

October 30, 2025

Sir,

The roads in KHB Hootagalli, coming under the jurisdiction of the City Municipal Council (CMC) Hootagalli, are in a deplorable state.

After the pipeline work was completed, the roads were never re-asphalted, making motoring through the area a dreadful experience.

Even the underground infrastructure is in dire need of attention. Near the signal light at the entrance, drainage water can be seen flowing through the stormwater drain, emitting a foul stench — a condition common across most drains in the locality.

Residents urge the authorities to take immediate action to address these civic issues.
